Sirajganj is a city in north-western Bangladesh on the right bank of the Jamuna River, in the Rajshahi Division. The city has a 6.55-MW Solar Power Plant, also known as NWPGCL (North-West Power Generation Company Limited) Sirajganj Solar Park, in Soyedpur near the Jamuna Bridge under Sirajganj Sadar Upazila in Sirajganj District of Bangladesh.

NWPGCL is a state-owned enterprise under the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). The plant has been built as a Public Power Plant (PPP) for 20 years and has been operational since 2021. The plant's installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity is 7.6 MW and 6.55 MW, respectively. NWPGCL is actively involved in the planning, developing, and managing of power generation projects in Bangladesh.

Agrani Bank Limited and NWPGCL have collaborated to finance the power plant, with a 70% and 30% distribution, respectively. Agrani Bank Limited, a prominent financial institution in Bangladesh, plays a crucial role in supporting the project financially.

M/s. Zhongnan Engineering Corporation Limited, a Chinese company, is the project's EPC contractor. The panels were sourced from Jinko Solar, a well-known solar panel manufacturer.

The power plant utilizes Jinko Solar Co. Ltd's  panels, totaling 22,620 units. Complementing these panels are three inverters of SMA Sunny Central 2475, with additionally, the project integrates SMA components, including a Sunny Boy Solar Inverter and a Sunny Island Battery Inverter, incorporating monitoring and control functionalities.
